Jeanne has chosen some spooky fun colors for this week's challenge and when I saw her dessert -- Too Cute to Spook (Halloween) -- it immediately conjured up this digital stamp which I just received from Mo's Patreon (sorry, this isn't in her shop).
From the start, I visualized a color block card with these fun colors, so I started by cutting strips of the cs for the front. When I was sizing the digi, I did elongate the stamp so it would fit into the oval shape better. To fill the white space, I added a die cut sentiment and drew in a spider with a pen.
My one tip this week: I don't have SU supplies (luckily my friend does so I got the cs from her for this week's challenge) and I do like to color with Copics. I was very fortunate to run across a thread in the Forums where Dianne aka Fionna51 shared a link to a list that matches Copics to SU colors. So, in case you haven't found that thread yet, here's the link to the blog: Joyful Creations with Kim. You will find the link to her pdf at the top of the right column. This has been incredibly helpful to me when I am trying to figure out SU colors that might match my supplies; and, Kim has done an excellent job coloring matching. For instance, this week I started by coloring the band on the hat with YR04 and YR07 -- WRONG! But Kim got it right: YR16 is an almost perfect match for Pumpkin Pie. So big thanks to Fionna51 and Joyful Creations with Kim. https://joyfulcreationswithkim.blogspot.com
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will join us this week at the Color Challenge and share your "too cute" cards."

So cute. Love the kitten with green eyes hiding under the witch's hat. Wonderful use of the challenge colors. I like the color block background, too. Fabulous ideas and inspiration!

So adorable, and I am intrigued that you were able to elongate this digi. I love Mo's art so much! Love the layout and the freehand spider. The fact that the spider web is wiggly tells me she's dancing!

Debbie, as always, your coloring is fantastic! Love your hand-drawn spider (although I don't like real spiders in general), so it looks like the kitty is scared of it, LOL. The color block bg is awesome!

I LOVE this! The colorblocking, that adorable witch's hat and that stinkin' cute little scaredy-cat. The bold blocks stand up beautifully to the tall hat.
