We are sending some Halloween Humor to this week's Tea Party guest, Ciara. Ciara has a long and arduous rehab ahead of her and needs some cheer right now. She loves Halloween and all things "The Nightmare Before Christmas". On my way to buy a witch I had previously seen in Mo's shop, I spied this girl...er ghoul...and she came with her own pun so I thought she'd be the perfect guest for Ciara's Tea Party.
I pretty much used the colors on Mo's site, except her ghoul is green. I went for light blue as that's one of Ciara's fav colors. I die cut that panel and a black panel with the same die then trimmed the main panel a bit for the black to show. I didn't have a Halloween ef, but I thought this lacy ef had a bit of a goth look. I swiped it with black ink after embossing. The sentiment is computer generated using Night Mare font.
Ciara's accident and recovery both sound horrid. I know how long it takes for bones to heal and it ain't quick and it ain't fun and it ain't easy. I do hope these cards will bring a bit of joy into her life and a lot of encouragement. Loads of prayers and good wishes headed her way. TFL.

Perfect! Black and blue for broken bones...it works. Love the headline, the die cuts, and the wonderful design of this well-thought creation. Your coloring/shading is always spot on.

I'm betting Ciara is going to love this creation, given Molly's description of her niece's love of Halloween and humor. That ghoul is really quite spooky looking! I love the headstone, heehee

Ha, I like the tombstone. This reminds me of friends who had some little zombie figures on their wedding cake. Great background - I thought maybe it was black core that you'd sanded, but I see you swiped it with ink. Sadly, I used up most of my white and black colour core stock before I realised how versatile it would be when I had more embossing folders, sigh...
