I had so much fun making the first watercolor coffee card that I had to make another one. I can't draw, so I used 2 circle dies (larger ones this time) to trace out the circles for my coffee cup. I "drew" the handle. I used layers of watercolored brown and black Tombow markers to create the coffee (darker coffee in this card) and then gray for the cup and handle shadowing.
I inked up the bottom of a small bottle with the brown marker and stamped that on the cream cardstock base this time. Then I added water to those circles to help spread out the color.
I corner-punched the watercolor panel and layered it with a brown panel. I adhered a different pattern of scrap coffee-themed fabric to the front of an A2 cream card. Then I layered a thin strip of the brown cardstock over the fabric edge. On top of that, I layered the coffee layer. For inside, I computer-generated the same sentiment of "Sending You A Cup Full of Warm Wishes". Thanks again for looking!

I am totally impressed you have coffee fabric, the texture adds so much interest and that was very smart to find something to do the circles with too! Love that your coffee looks like it was just finished being stirred in that cup.

Oh goodness - I love that fabric you added behind your painting - I thought it was DSP before i read your description. Good job adding the negative shadowing around the cup and I like the extra shadowing on the handle.
