For today's sketch (love it!), yesterday's CC, and today's WCW...I'm kind of big cheat. I wanted to use this new to me stamp from Etsy that one4joy (Susan) made me get. She wouldn't take 'no' for an answer. I even cried!
It's a coffee/tea cup but of course it isn't anything like what I was supposed to do for the WCW challenge. But I did try the two brush technique in a few places, kept forgetting which brush was which.

Well - you may have cheated a bit as you say but you do have a cup and a good portion of coffee / tea colored stains and spatters. . .and you even have a nicely placed shadow coming out from under your mug. Glad you had fun today it's always fun to use something new!!!)

I am smiling as I did goof that up too, putting my paint covered brush in the wash jar was the most frequent one, or putting the just plain water one into the wash jar. ( at least neither one of them went in the coffee cup this time So, I considered it a win) Love that you made this Christmas-y Jean.

Your write-up made me giggle : )
The important thing is to have fun, right?! This mug is very cool as is your lovely splattered background and the "pops" of red and green.

oh, yes...a cuppa of jolly! What a perfectly wonderful card for that trio of challenges...love the texture panels (and how you didn't make them matchy matchy), the cool shadow as Linda pointed out...I had to go back up and fully appreciate it...I need to learn that! The well appointed glitters and of course, that FABULOUS mug. Exuberant, bfnm!!!

You poor poor thing, Jean, being bullied into getting that stamp. I understand and I'm here to tell you it's OK. Love your challenge combo! I see the watercolor technique in there in the shadow. Well done!
I love this! Your cup is gorgeous and I love the splatters. This is such an interesting sketch and I love seeing that a couple of you have used it for the WCW! Your cup is fascinating! So fun to combine challenges on this.
