Although it's really closer to the Gorgeous Grape color. Somehow Grape Butterfly just didn't sound like a great title. LOL.
I adore the colors from today's Color Challenge and I couldn't help but envision a field of wildflowers. I really wanted to do something other than flowers; but, like I said, I couldn't envision anything other than wildflowers.
After I stamped the leaf stamp with Olive, I went back and touched the tips of the leaves with the Jungle Green marker. It's very subtle - even in real life - but it did change it a bit for the better. Randomly stamped the floral stamp in Lilac. Trimmed the panel. I liked the look of the scrap from trimming and when it matched up to the image stamped on the panel, I figured it was meant to be. So I added it to the embossed sentiment layer and glue everything down. The antennae on the butterfly is from another die set.
These colors transport me to a beautiful mountain meadow with a babbling brook and a profusion of wildflowers. I hope you are transported to your place of beauty and peace today too. TFL.

Gorgeous, Debbie! Your bg looks like a pretty piece of dp. How cool to be able to make your own. I like the sentiment strip too, and you could have titled this: Gorgeous Butterfly!

I am very impressed that you made your own designer paper. It's just beautiful. That dark purple butterfly just pops out with your designer paper in the background. So pretty.
Thank you also for leaving that nice comment on my card yesterday.
