I have the honor of hosting this week's Tea Party for my former coworker, who could use some Teapotter prayer and cheer. The good news is he is almost fully recovered physically from his stroke and bout with Covid, but he is struggling with post-stroke depression. He's been through so much this past year, I know a Tea Party would really lift his spirits. My challenge is to put a car or house on your card and I chose this fun stamp from The Cat's Pajamas. What a perfect sentiment for Tom. I used an embossing folder to simulate cracks in the pavement and improvised with witches hats for traffic cones--which was perfect for MIX446 to think outside the box and use something for a different purpose than it was intended. My husband laughed at my hats, but I think they're fun. To really make this card mixed media, I coated the hills in the background with green Fun Flock, and added Wink of Stella to the traffic cones and clouds.

I love your fun and special card, the hats turned out great into cones and that image is so cute, the coloring is perfect and the scene looks like this is the beginning of a film ...

Love how that bunny has that car packed to the limit, and such a great sentiment for this card!

Love your scene and all the fun you created here -- those cones flying every which way is so clever. And, of course, that rabbit from Cats Pajamas never fails to make me smile. I don't think I would want to be his passenger though -- I wouldn't be able to see anything in front of me. LOL. Love all the details you created here and I am sure Tom will chuckle when he gets this gem. Wonderful card.

Tom will greatly enjoy this gem! The fun textured hillside, the traffic cones, the cracks in the pavement, the funny rabbit in the adorable red car and that sentiment that is so perfect for the struggles he's had this past year!

If I didn't read your description, I wouldn't have guessed that those traffic cones were originally intended to be witch hats! Clever out-of-the-box idea! Also the cracked (and pot holey?) road, LOL! Fabulous card with the perfect sentiment!
