The Free For All Challenge today (F4A600-Goodbye Summer - 8/20/2021), was to make a summer card before summer comes to an end.
This card came together fairly quickly with leftover bits and pieces and some new supplies I happened to pack for our last camping trip of the summer. I always try to plan a day or two of stamping whenever we head out camping in our trailer. Hubby likes to fish and shoot and tie fishing flies, so we both are happy campers!
It's hard to see in the photo, but if you look closely you can see a dry embossed chicken wire design. This was a scrap piece that I experimented using a new chicken wire stencil from Simple Stories. Next time I do it I will add a shim to the Big Shot sandwich and see if the impression is more pronounced.
The card front is dry embossed with the new 6x6 EF from SU called Timeworn Type. This is my new favorite EF - love the soft irregular bumps and blurred printed letters!
I am also adding this card to 2 other recent challenges:
WT858 - International Bow Day - 8/19/2021
CAS650 - Summer Gingham - 8/9/2021
Thanks so much for stopping by to look at my Hen & Rooster card. Happy end of summer to you!

Fab look. I love the confetti tan color. Goes so well with white and that red checked gingham. That ef. is one that I regret not getting (yet, lol). Super fun summer card, Susy!
