Classy Card Ladies duel has begun for August. Suzy (Diamond) and I (Pearls) decided on a Wild West theme. I just love this little cowboy and his Faux horse. I used a leathery looking paper for the background and the turquoise paper had a corner that had dark texture and wording, so I used both. The turquoise for another background and the other for one of the ribbons. I had copper paper for the star and made the twine look like a cowboy's rope. Then antiqued it with the rich cocoa and a turquoise stamp pad. Yahoo!

Yahoo! I love your card - what a fabulous idea to put a tied loop of twine/rope onto the cowboy's saddle. Your star looks fabulous, too, with just a wee bit of color - is that a sequin on top of a sequin?

I love this so much, and I have never noticed that stamp line before danger danger will Robinson... (have fallen down the pit of crackerbox/suzy stamps store) Thanks for that.
