This is my sailboat for the "how to paint a sailboat" watercolor challenge. It took me not 1, not 2 but 3 tries to get it half way looking good. This was actually my first sailboat but then tried the sky and the waves and they looked horrible so I cut out this sailboat and stuck it to the circle I had painted. The other 2 went in the trash. Sending this to a friend who is having surgery next month. I can't draw birds so I brought out my fave bird stamp by Repeat Impressions. Of all the stamps I own, this gets the most use LOL

Super job on your card and it looks as if the sun is coming up on a beautiful day. I love your boat and sails as well as the scene around. This is a wonderful card for your friend.

Your card will be appreciated by your friend and encouraging before the surgery or comforting after the surgery, I love your stamped birds and fun sailboat, the sun is what I forgot to paint!!
What a great idea to cut out your best sailboat and place it on the ocean background! This will bring cheer to your friend! I skipped the birds too because I was afraid I would mess up and didn't want to paint the 3rd one. What a great idea to have a bird stamp.

Great job on your sailboat and I love the design of your card. I have found with my own experience that water coloring does take a lot of practicing and many tries.

Good save on your sailboat and the circular bg adds interest to this card. Giggling about the birds because I struggle with this too . . . it should be a simple shape to draw yet mine ALWAYS just look like wonky scribbles . . . .

Great idea to combine the best parts of your attempts. This is a wonderful encouraging card for a friend! I always find myself wishing I had a simple birds stamp, so I can see why yours would get a lot of use!
