I have a friend that asked me if I could make her a card for her nephew who has just gotten a promotion as a Maine Game Warden. She had previously ordered a birthday card for him based on the badge that they wear. That card (here) was really fabulous and I couldn't figure out how to make another one that was also inspired by the badge but different enough from the first. Today's TLC brick wall challenge was perfect. A great way to make a unique masculine card. I stenciled the mountains, trees, grass, and water, and then stamped the deer in the trees. This Spellbinders stamp is supposed to have a 3D effect, but it doesn't stamp that well for me. I had to unmount it and stamp it three times using my Precision Press. I drew the bricks on the back of the paper and labeled them all so I could put it back together easily. It was still hard. I popped each brick up on foam and added the red by using a red card base and a sparkly red "awesome" die cut.
