Finishing up this round of playing with the You Take The Cake MFT die I purchased recently.
For this version, I chose to make an A2 card and combine it with one of my favorite Birdie Brown piggies.
The colored stripes were die cut from Ellen Hutson die using various Memory Box colored cardstocks. I die cut my sentiment from the assembled striped panel as well as from a scrap piece of black shimmer cardstock that had been cut using one of my MFT In & Out stitched square dies. I next inlaid my rainbow of letters.
I stamped, colored and die cut my pig. I cut 2 more pigs from lightweight cardstock to use for dimension.
In assembling my card, I layered a panel of Bazzill Diamond bling card stock, then positioned my sentiment panel, using a scrap of black cardstock underneath it for dimension. I then positioned the pig where I wanted him, placed one of the blanks over the colored image and drew a line where the pig bisected the sentiment panel. This enabled me to accurately cut the part of the 2 blank layers that would be on top of the sentiment panel, making my piggie be level. I layered the blanks and added the piggie to the card.
To finish off the card, I used glossy accents on the cherry and nose and added freckles with a white gel pen.
TFL!

Really a fun and sweet birthday card, Debbie. Lovely shading of colors on your greeting's letters....a lot of patience and precision piecing those letters together with the rainbow hues. Well done!!
