This card is for this week's Teapot Party and is for Larry who is recovering after a nasty fall and op. Larry loves golf and as we golfers say, Beware .the injured golfer! Hopefully this will bring a smile to Larry's face.
I'm also putting this against this week's Free For All challenge too as my sky is red .this golfer is still playing at sunset and we say Red Sky At Night, Shepherd's Delight .or maybe Golfer's Delight lol.
The blocking technique was created by swiping paints across the CS nothing fancy but gives a cool effect. I stamped a funky square stamp using the 3 colours on various coloured squares. The sentiment was printed onto copy paper.
This card came together quickly and I love the colours. It's very vibrant and, of course, in French colours.
We wish Larry all the best for his ongoing recovery and hope that he gets back to playing golf as soon as possible.
TFL. Happy day

Well I laughed as soon as this popped on the screen. I bet he will too. Love the color blocking and the stamp in bg design. Love the images and their placements on the card. And that sentiment is perfect.
As a teen who ocean fished quite a bit with my then boyfriend, I was taught that the saying goes “Red skies at night sailor’s delight; Red skies in morning, sailors take warnimg.” But I think it works well for shepherds and golfers too.

Nice technique on the background - it really accents the red, white & blue color scheme, and all the golfing images and sentiment are sure to lift Larry’s spirits while healing.
