I am on a marathon thank you card making session as my DD2 needs a number of them. I loved the faux tearing challenge last Thursday and decided to make a pair of cards with that technique.
I inked the background with Soft Sky and Always Artichoke. Then I colored the tree stamp with Early Espresso and three green colors coloring it with a base color of green and then thumping it with the other two to get color variation in my tree. I heat embossed the sentiment.
I really like that they are one layer so easy to mail. Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Such a pretty card and love your torn paper design! I agree with Anita- a change of the sentiment and this could easily be a card for any theme! Wonderful!

I love that technique too and your colors on this are so rich and beautiful contrasting along the tear lines blended against the white. I think I will follow suit of those who have commented before me, and send it over to my favorites as well.
