My DIL came over today and planted new lovelies in our small backyard. When she was done, I grabbed this leaf form the pruning pile and showed her how to do a fast gel print. Brayed oxides onto gel plate, placed the leaf down, placed the paper on top, lifted the paper just enough to remove the leaf and then replaced the paper down again in the same spot. She was wowed at the instant art. She was going to take it like that but I asked her to wait till I stepped it up for her to send.

Leaf prints are such fun. And the torn edge is a great pairing with the white "skeleton". I must try with oxides, sounds easier and cleaner than paint!
