This is the tutorial we are using: It is about painting transparent flowers.
It was easier for me this week to not sketch but just watercolor the flower watching the tutorial. After I created the flower, I added some color for the background, let dry and used the alphabet/number stencil. For the gradient square stencil, I swiped paint over the top and then pressed the swiped section to my watercolor paper. That was different than I normally do when I use a stencil but I rather like it. I placed my panel and did a light wash around it. Added my sentiment....all finished.

This is so gorgeous! I love your flower in red and the background holds so much interest! Beautiful! I am with you, I didn't sketch my flower, I just went with it, for better or worse!

Your bloom looks Beautiful, Brenda, even though red is a hard color to work with! I like the way you framed this artwork and the little extras surrounding your lovely bloom as well~
