More Christmas cards are needed for my 2021 Christmas stash. This is a remake of a card made back in 2009 using the now retired Lovely As A Tree stamp from SU. My new card has more layers, some added sparkly silver glimmer paper, some Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and a few sequins scattered about.
In planning my Christmas remake, I found 14 challenges that would fit my card, as follows:
1) DDSKETCH0521 - Fan Club Monthly Theme--May 2021/ Family Tree! - 5/15/19. My card meets the theme interpretation of family and family trees. My card is inspired by the sketch challenge.
2) F4A580 - Free 4 All Challenge/ Heat Embossing! - 4/2/21. My card hosts many heat embossed trees.
3) AOCC21 - All Occasions Card Challenge/ April 2021 - Ongoing Annually. This challenge encourages you to set goals ahead for each month to complete and mail your cards timely! I set that I needed at least 6 Christmas card each month. This is one of those needed.
4) USEIT2021 - Use It Challenge/ April 2021 - Ongoing Annually. This challenge requires you to use old, long unused items gathering dust and/or old/ new items purchased but seemingly forgotten...never opened or used! I brought out two VERY OLD stamp sets...A Wondrous Gift and Lovely As A Tree, circa 2009. They both had a number of years worth of dust on them!
5) CAS617 - Clean & Simple Challenge/ Trees - 12/21/20. I have many trees on my card!
6) MSP39 - MISTI Monday Challenge/ Let There Be Peace -11/1/20. Create a wintry scenery card or a peaceful scene of your own choice. My snowy tree scene is the perfect peaceful scene to me.
7) CCC20OCT - Christmas Card Challenge/ October 2020 - Winter Scenes. Put a wintery scene on your card.
WT799 - Ways to Use It Challenge/ Argh, Dust! - 7/2/10. Let's add good dust to our cards...glitter dust, embossing dust...find your dust. I've used both embossing powder dust and glitter dust.
9) MIX359 - Mix-Ability Challenge/ Glitter & Shine - 12/13/19. Add glitter to your card. I added glitter to my silver heat embossed trees and with clear embossing for snow below the trees. Mediums used: glitter, embossing powders, stamping ink.
10) ABC10W7 - Alphabet Challenge--Round 10/ Letter W with Double Challenge - Wood! - 10/10/19. My Round 10/ Letter W card is for Woods, which meets the Double Challenge as well.
11) IC703 - Inspiration Challenge/ Ballard Designs - 5/25/19. I found this inspiration in the picture (thumbnail #5) of these silvery trees: Lit Mercury Glass Trees...thumbnail #5.
12) TLC732 - Technique Lover's Challenge/ EOINA: Sparkle & Emboss - 3/4/19. Revisiting TLC458/ 12/2/13, let's try this sparkling technique again. If I understand correctly, this is to add glitter to your heat embossing to heat more sparkly outcome, which is what I did to my silver embossed trees. I also added glitter to Heat & Stick Embossing powder to create sparkly snow under my trees.
13) FS621 - Featured Stamper Challenge/ Barb Gregg aka Amisjag - 12/30/18. It was fun to browse Barb's lovely gallery. I chose this card to CASE: Tree Farm Prose!. I chose this card because it was using the exact stamp that had been used on a Christmas card remake I'd been contemplating. I kept the tree theme and the horizontal orientation, but changed to a Christmas theme, a different blue color scheme, the layout and added ribbon and cording.
14) SCSCCJUN17 - Fan Club Monthly Christmas Card Challenge/ Peace - 6/1/17. I chose a peaceful, snowy scene for my card.

I remember when I spent time doing past challenges in a couple places! Yeah for you...and yeah for you for using the card for so many challenges at once, I've never been able to do that.

Lovely card. I love the sentiment with these trees and the extra matting is beautiful. I always marvel at how you are able to combine so many challenges into your cards. You rock! And your beautiful card does too.
