Thanks to Pat and Barbara for the challenges today! It's still spring, despite that it feels like summer and people are anxious for summer, and May, so I thought I'd feature a picture of me and my beautiful Mama.
Yes, it is still printemps (spring) and I've been wanting to use this spring set from CS. I've also been enjoying more simple stamping lately, emboss resist or stenciling and the like. Stamped everything in the twilight, which is a very dark blue, clear embossed, then sprayed with water and added the Pixie Sparkle. Then sprayed with the vanilla custard. We all know in Wisconsin that true vanilla custard is rather yellow in color...all that delicious butter fat. We haven't had to deal with too much slush in the shoes this spring, unless you're further north. Slush is gone!!!!!!!!!

Pretty collage image highlighted with pixie powder. As a northern I can relate to the slush comment...not so bad thinking of slush on a day when it's mid 80s ;) And what a darling photo of you and your mom...very sweet..

Custard? YUM! My Great Uncle Roger made the most delicious pies........his custard was to die for!! Love your printemps card, with the custard spray, and what a lovely pic of you and your beautiful mama!!

I have spent the past few days trying to recall some of the French I learned in college so as soon as I saw your card title I patted myself on the back for knowing what Printemps meant! This is a super fun collage stamp, too, with it's whole musical theme. . . . and then I got to your sentiment and the mirth spilled out of me. Slush is never a problem in the desert but your sentiment brought back memories of childhood on the farm where "slush in your shoes" was (almost always) accompanied by The Parfum Eau De Cow Dung cause that's what we were up to when "slush happened"!
