I love to recycle items so today's challenge was great for me. And, to make it even better, I had already started this project. Yes, sometime this past winter, I challenged the MMJ (mixed messy and joyful) to recycle and had already done the basic of the toilet roll mixed media. I had already Gessoed, sprayed with several sprays and stenciled with the drywall tape and white paste. My toilet rolls aren't as small as Lyn's must be but I didn't cut it down, made an ATC that will fit inside. This was made from another leftover, I think from Anita's TLC a while ago to use a baby wipe on a stencil (not really sure but I know I used a sun stencil.) I cut the circle dies from something I found in my stash, no idea how I did that either. A few Stickles, done!! I have two more I'd started so I may keep going with this. Oh the sentiments were stamped on stash too. I LOVE STASH (the paper kind)!
PS if you're having trouble flattening your roll, put it through the diecut machine.

Yes that's a good tip I've done that some time ago when I've made a mini with paper rolls, your pocket looks great with all the fun texture and love your die cuts, I agree with you it's always fun to recycle and to use scraps!!

I have challenged myself to use my stash too! That is why I did the color my world theme - All the pieces were colored all I had to do was coordinate the background and cut out the image and adhere it - I feel like I double recycled haha! Thanks for joining my challenge!

I crisped mine with the bone folder and then stuck it in the thrift store dictionary I use for keeping things flat while glue dries. I have two of them that I got for 50 cents each. Doesn't hurt my feelings to tear pages out for collages and m/m either.
I like the bright orangey-pink color with the more subtle neutral and pastel. The inside tag is a nice complement.
