I made this BG by laying my wet dyed fabric lacy flowers onto photo paper, to sop up some of the excess moisture/color. It feels textural, too, having lifted some of the photo emulsion. The Butterfly wings bend up and they sparkle with Stickles. The sentiment is heat embossed. A very fun and surprising experiment.

Great texture on your card Lori, and I love the colors you've used, I like to use photo paper too on my projects, every time it's surprising me. Pretty butterflies too

Giggling because I think I have some of those embroidered daisy strips (circa 1960) in my stash too, but of course NEVER thought about dyeing them! And not only dyeing - but using the bleed off to create a coodrinating bg. My friend - I am always in awe of how creative you are and this card is no exception!
