What fun boards Kia has created for us!!!!!! There is so much I could have done but I lacked time today, as I spent most of my day with my son Joe for Mother's Day. We had such a delightful afternoon, eating good food and visiting. This might have been the first time in a very long time that I saw his whole face.
For the MIX yesterday, since it was 5/7, the only requirement was to create something 5x7. I suppose since I'm a day late that I should have done 5x8...oh well. I covered the paper with Gesso, sprayed the sugar spray on it and added the powder. Let it dry, then stenciled the little girl's dress with a rainbow of DOx and also did the same with the grownup ladies stencil at the bottom. Added a dot stencil at the top with the glitter paint, added the butterfly gems as some buttons, a little velvet ribbon and the fun sentiment. This is what inspired me: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/525865693998866551/

Oh, I get to be first!!!!! Of course I love what you have done...we will grow up, but that does not require giving up our sense of fun. Your exuberant dress is a perfect example, well along with the quote and the polka dots and the more mature mannequins! What a great play...

Duh. Because we write our dates differently it never occurred to me that's what inspired Dina. I'm glad you had such a good time yesterday. I really like the bottom border, and I think the little butterfly buttons added to the child's dress are just brilliant.
