This is for the WTUI Challenge - Recycle for Earth Day.
I have two things on my card that were recycled. The butterfly came from packaging that was too pretty to throw away. I fussy cut it and adhered it as the focal point of my card after drawing antenna with a marker. The second recycled part is the back side of a business envelope. I save a lot of those that come in the mail because they work really well as pattern paper. I sponged the card base in Distress Twisted Citron Ink that matches the butterfly.

Ah - I often see people mention the inside of business envelopes, but if I'm honest, I'm not sure if I ever look at mine!! The simple hatched line pattern is a good background for your pretty butterfly. Great recycling.

Beautiful butterfly, Jane, and I Love your diagonal patterned paper from an envelope! It adds nice texture minus the feel of it. Great idea to sponge a little color on when you don't actually have the right color cs. I've done that before.~

The inside of envelopes are great, aren't they? Love the butterfly you saved.

This is so pretty. I especially love that you used the inside of an envelope. I never thought to do that..looks amazing. That butterfly is gorgeous. I’m so glad that you rescued the butterfly.....one of my favourite things. Such a lovely card. TFS. Happy day
