It's my pleasure to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS741) this week! So a big congrats to Heather, the newest FS. She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & green (because I LOVE greens), but used different images & dies & made my card a floral instead of a St. Patrick's Day card.
For my card, after stamping, coloring & die cutting the poppies, I did the stems & leaves & fussy cut them to add them to my white circle. The smaller bg was sponged w/ the lime greens & a little teal on the ends. The larger bg is one I made a while back w/ a die cut & some Brushos, but I wasn't crazy about how it looked alone. But it worked great behind my sponged layer.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ Copic colors & more pics showing what the lg bg looked like before. The Write Stuff

Oh Wow! Your colors are so vibrant. I love this. Your brusho bg looks great here underpinning that gorgeous ink blend. The oranges and golds in the poppy contrast so perfectly. Fabulous layout. Fabulous coloring. Fabulous CASE. Fabulous card.

Wow, Julie, that background you didn't like sure does suit this wonderful sponged piece. Everything is balanced well with the white behind those vibrant poppies! This is gorgeous!
