It is my pleasure to be your hostess in the Color Challenge this week. I've chosen four colors from the Brights palette, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo and Bermuda Bay. The dessert option is to use Designer/Printed paper on your project.
I love making cards that set themselves apart from the usual store-bought format. A box card always seems to elicit some oohs and aahs. This particular one is made with dies; and amazingly, it folds to fit in a standard A2 envelope. I must admit I got the idea for this card from watching the MFT blog for the upcoming release. They are featuring a new die set to cut out flowers for box cards, but hey! I already have some similar dies (also MFT)!
Do you have friends who treasure every card you make for them? I am very fortunate to have several. One is my friend, Judy, and her birthday is coming up fairly soon. She will be receiving this card in a few weeks.
I hope you like these bright colors. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with them! Have fun!

Oh! I really like all that stitching in your die cuts. Wonderful job putting all those colors together and making it look so fantastic. A happy card for your friend, for sure!

Oh Barbara, I love your touching narrative about how very special handmade cards can be. I will never forget the first time I received one! I'm sure your friend Judy will LOVE it. It's not just thoughtful arrangement of the beautiful flowers or the fact that it's a box card, what's special is that your card was made from the heart. Thank you so much for sharing this beauty.

yes I do have friends who save everything I give them and it fills me with joy, just like this creation you made does. Beautiful idea for all those colors.
