I combined this week's color challenge (black, white, gray and our favorite color) and today's 'life is a gift' WT.
I love my birthday and I love others' birthdays. I found this black wrapping paper in my stash of used papers; there are holographic stars on it. I cut two squares out of it and mounted them on some cardstock squares. Used the green metallic embroidery floss for 'ribbon', diecut a couple of stars for additional embellishment. Embossed the smoky slate with a dot folder, direct to paper with the Versamark, then heat embossed with the alabaster white. I tried to get the ep only on the raised dots but I guess that was wishing too hard. Adds texture, right?

How festive! And creative! I love how you wrapped the gifts. Sure would love to have you wrap my Christmas packages...I rather like the happy way the DP scattered...

This looks great! I would never have known that you only intended to emboss the dots. I looked at your card first and then read the description, I thought it was purposeful.

Very cool birthday card with all the sparkle and shine, and the stars on the gifts are a lovely addition. I like the background with the extra embossing, looks perfectly fine to me!

This is a wonderful birthday card and I see Christmas opportunities here too! Into my favourites it goes. I love the embroidery floss ribbon on your presents. Love the whole card!
