This is for the VSN Hostess challenge Sharon and Nikki surprised us with on Saturday night. We had to do a card or scrapbook page showing how we spent summers as a child. My parents raised us 6 kids in a small house but it was on an inland lake. We were always in the water and would only get out when my Mom saw that our lips were turning as blue as the Not Quite Navy I used for my background color on my tag card. We didn't have much as kids since my Mom was a SAHM and feeding 6 kids must have cost a fortune but we always had humor, lots of loving and the lake !! I wouldn't trade growing up on that lake for all the money in the world. As you can see I was a Beach Babe from wayyyyyy back....and not one word from any of you about the black and white photos either.

black and white photos are so in vogue right now.... I mean, whose to say they weren't taken just yesterday? ;) I love the tag book. you did a great job with it!
What a great place to be a kid, Joni. You sure dressed up those b/w photos with such neat embellishments! Outstanding job and a terrific tag card for the memory book!
