Tis a great challenge for the Parks and Recreation theme, Kelly! And I literally took it off trail.
I used the Prima stencil and sprinkled Brusho powders over the top, removed the stencil and used a water spritz over the top. Once dry, it was mounted to my card base. I stamped the Hero Art's...
'Don't follow the path, Go instead where there's no path and leave a trail.'
It was embossed with Clear ep and fussy cut. I popped it up a bit by stapling the edges and billowing out the center.
I am adding this to the Free4All challenge this week, Shirley invited us to show her building projects. A lovely path off the trail to somewhere qualifies, doesn't it?
Smile...and go off a trail, discover something new, I'd love to hear where you went!

Susan, I love how you always take things to a higher level and made this a perfect card for both challenges. I love especially the idea of blazing new trails that might open up opportunities for others who might not have been brave enough to go there otherwise. So it also builds the connections between ourselves and others. And girl, you are definitely a beacon of light to others.

This is brilliant, Susan! Your pairing of the path and the US stamp reminded me of history lessons - the Oregon Trail... Wouldn't it be great if you find out that your forebears were one of the first to settle there - it would certainly explain your adventurous spirit!

This is just perfect for Kelly's 'off the trail' challenge. You have a rocky, literal trail for us today and it invokes memories of hiking in the Simi Hills.
