For Toni's Glittery WT836 challenge in the WTUI forum.
I've been working on this for several days now, and the glitter helped me finish it off.
I started by swiping a couple of greens and some ochre acrylic over a piece of heavy card with a credit card. When dry, I stencilled the sunflower on with modelling paste. When dry, I added two layers of yellow acrylic over the petals. Next day I got as far as stippling brown over the centre, and adding in some bokeh with blue and white pigment inks. Yesterday I added metallic rub-ons over the centre, some gessoed bokeh, and some stamped "Prickles" from Art Journey in Delicata gold and Versafine Black. Also some yellow Stickles highlights on each petal. Today I finished it off by adding the bee (Stickles on his wings), the sentiment, and two edges of double-sided tape with glitter burnished on. And already, by the time I'd taken the photo, DH has some glitter on his face. Well, Toni did say glitter everywhere!!!

Your sunflower has such dimension and the glittered petal edges certainly add sparkle. The bg is FANTASTIC and beautifully done (some of those prickly balls remind me of the coronavirus virus they depict on TV)....but I know yours aren't, Sabrina. : )

I love this Sabrina! I'm always drawn to sunflowers and that bokeh background, the textured floral center, with those touches of glitter on the petals take this to the next level. You can see the time you took for this creation. Awesome.

I am in awe of that gorgeous BG and that sunflower is amazing. The bee added works so perfectly too. One might think with my last name I would have more bee stamps but alas I only have a couple but I do love them.

It's gorgeous, Sabrina! When I said glitter everywhere, I was thinking of the many occasions that my DH has glitter on him and he never sets foot in my craft room.
