I made three cards for today and this one is my favorite. I used an old SU ef in warm colors and used some metallic water colors to make it more interesting. I pulled out my old Brilliance ink pads; I used to use them all the time.
Has it been sunny in your neck of the woods lately? It has been in mine. Quite a bit of snow is gone, but it's too early to be complacent.

Love these big roses. This is a fun way to use embossing folders. I have quite a collection and I love using them in a variety of ways. Their patterns are so pretty whether embossed into the paper, inked or painted, I have even used them for wax resistance.

It IS sunny here today - we've been about 50/50 lately, but bursts of sun most days... and here, too, the snow is quickly vanishing. :'( (Some in our forecast for Wednesday though! I love winter and am sad whenever it goes... and frankly find it a bit depressing when it goes early, so the pops of sun sometimes help return a pep to my step.)
Another LOVELY job on this technique challenge - by your gallery alone, I am totally inspired to actually try it!

This is beautiful, Jean. It is nice to see this embossing folder in the gallery too, it is such an elegant one. I like the shimmer of the gold on your embossed roses.
