I knew going into Dawn's gallery this morning that I had one more of the VSN challenges to try ( snow covered mountains) and I squee'd out loud when I found these majestic purple mountains in Dawn's gallery here... so, changes from Dawn's card are there are less layers and no gems. I did pick a mountain scene that had some water and reflections along the bottom so I could keep the colors very similar to Dawn's with less layers. The white gel pen actually makes cool texture on the places where there is snow in this image but, it was being camera shy. The eagle silhouette was stamped on a scrap of watercolor paper and cut out with scissors, its up on foam pop dots to give it an out of the box perspective with the scene. And I did move it up in the design. Dawn, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for these challenges ladies & tfl.

Fabulous card. Love the scene...reminds me of Yosemite Valley. The way you framed this with the thin black frame. What a cool effect. The bird outside the box is perfectly placed for my taste. And, your sentiment is definitely words to live by. Wonderful card and CASE.
Edit: OK, just reread your supplies list..stamp of Half Dome. Duh...LOL. And it is stunning.

A beautiful card. Love that thin black frame that only accents and does not take one thing away from this gorgeous mountainous scene!
