Here's the inside from my last card. I'm showing 2 versions using the Xcuts heart die. The green and yellow layer was a Brusho heart made from the waste that wasn't so hot. So I used the die cut as a stamp, a technique I learned from Jennifer McGuire, over it. She basically cut and layered her die and glued it together to make it pretty thick. The top layer of the stack was cut from non porous vellum, so that you could ink it up and use your embossing machine and rubbery mat, to stamp and press it into the paper. It left a depressed and raised impression, like letterpress.
I added more washi tape for cohesive decoration from the front of the card. The vintage valentine is removable and is mounted by 2 plastic file folder tabs, so I am adding this to the Unofficial Office Supply Challenge that Pam (PJBStamper2) told me about. You can find this challenge in the general stamp talk forum thread. This card opens again and reveals the soft remaining texture from pressing and the sewing that was done to reinforce the Washi tape.
