Eeek! I've used my last two light circuits! But this time I remembered to put the lights on when I took the photo. The other day when I made the valentine for my electrician (to give to his wife--I didn't give a valentine to my electrician), I made a second one for Raleigh. And since I made Raleigh a light up card, I had to make Dezi a light up card. I struggled with finding inspiration on today's website. There's not much color in any of these photos. But I found this room inspiring enough. It inspired my light up scene to be Desmond reading on of this Brad Meltzer books. He loves the Brad Meltzer "I Am" biographies. They're very good. But the kid sitting in the chair reading in this stamp set is a girl. I had to do some fussy cutting to make it a boy. But it worked perfectly. And because I always make two cards at a time, the other card is for my brother's girlfriend. We are celebrating her birthday tomorrow and I have to go get her a Home Depot gift card. They just bought a house and have a lot of work to do. They painted their walls a really pretty golden yellow like this. That's her dog, Charlie, relaxing on the floor.

Jen, what a special duo of cards! Raleigh will love his personalized fav author, fantastic coloring and the plaid lampshade is cool. Your brother’s wife will adore the card made especially for her...Divine Floral lampshade and leaving the light on...maybe she can buy some on/off timers with that HD gc!
Your cards always bring a smile, Jen.

These are darling cards, Jen. Such a happy feel to them and that background is perfect. The lights are brilliant as are the cards! Hugz
