I'm hosting the Mix-Ability challenge this week and just had to challenge us with something that was bright, fun, and bold! Come join us as we Make It POP!
I know! No stamps!!! Well, I've been living with my craftroom almost 90% or more packed up since July and crafting is just impossible. So when I wanted to have stamped the hearts and some repeatable patterns, I had to rely on what I could grab off the top of the stack.
I used acrylic paints, brayer and gel printing plate and made some colorful deli paper prints and a few stencils I could find. Next, I roughly cut rectangles that might fit on an A2 card and then used the kindergarten method for getting a symmetrical heart shape and cut out 6 hearts. I added some dots, zigzags, and sunbursts to make more designs. I finished them off by painting black around all the shapes and glued them onto the card front. Doesn't it POP! Yay!
I hope you'll come over to the Mix-Ability Forum and play along with us!

That's a pretty mixed media, love you've used hearts and I think you've did a great job with what you've found to grab, must be difficult to have everything packed since July

This is great...I love all the different colors and designs you get when using a gel plate...I can't believe you've been w/o most of your stuff for this long...Super creative card!
