This is another card I created for CC830. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose blueberry bushel, bumble bee and bermuda bay for her color trio. Dessert Option is to add another "B" color. It could be as simple as "blue," or you could add a color whose name starts with "B". So I chose berry burst.
This is the card I started to make originally but I couldn't get it to work with just the 3 challenge colors. I was a bit confused with the dessert option, but now I have it together and I was able to finish this card. I thought we were supposed to pick another blue color (LOL). After seeing my teamies cards I understood the dessert option.
For this sample, I used a card base from an older Stampin'-Up Paper Pumpkin Kit. The stripes were originally coastal cabana shade but I masked and sponged them with bermuda bay ink.
I cut my stars using several different size star dies in the challenge colors. My Happy phrase is a die from MFT and I cut in blueberry bushel and bermuda bay and offset them a bit for interest.
The Birthday sentiment is from the Stampin'-Up set "see ya later".

This is a very sweet birthday card, Mary. The background looks great with the die cut stars and sentiment. Clever how you used different colors to create the stars.

Mary I loved your first card and this one is fabulous too! I’m happy you decided to make another. It’s great how you took part of a card kit and finished it out as your own. I should try that more - I have too many unfinished kits! (And sorry I confused you.)
