This will be my anniversary card for DH, and sadly is likely to be as close to Paris as we get this year. Funnily enough he was just reminiscing about some of our visits just a few days ago.
Lean Creatif camera die made as a shaker card with Trimcraft papers for the background and the back of the csmera. Word Play sentiment embossed, Eiffel Tower (thanks, Margot) brad fit just perfectly into the arch of the R. Base was sponged with Antique Linen and stamped with IO Script in Versafine Smokey Grey.
A couple of times we stayed in an apartment which was on the same Metro line as the Eiffel Tower, so we saw even more of it than usual on those visits. Prior to that for many years we used to stay in a little hotel recommended to us by a French friend who used it when he stayed in Paris, and the Jardins de Luxembourg were our stomping ground in those days. Last time our apartment was down near the Place de Bastille, so we were close to Notre Dame, and the Place des Vosges.

Love your old camera in the background! I collect old cameras (never spend much and just get them at garage sales but I love them).
Your card is fabulous and fun with Paris in the view! So lucky that you got to spend so much time there. I dream of that one day. Lovely post my friend. Hugz

I got into card making, through scrapbooking, through taking pictures. Wonder if all those phone photos that get taken now will evoke the memories our picture albums do? Love your card! That brad fits in so well with your sentiment I didn't see it at first. :-) What a lovely anniversary and tribute to shared memories!
