I created this for the TLC this week, using Anita's great video which you can find in the challenge post HERE.
My first bird was too small, so I had to start over with something bigger. I didn't have the exact sizes of circle that Anita said, so I just went with what I had - I think for one of the pieces of DP, I had to hand trim it because I didn't have dies that layered closely enough. I added a sentiment from Purple Onion - it might be Every Day Blurbs.
The one thing I found was that I had to wait till the glue was bone dry for the bird on the thin strip to rock when I tipped the card base. In the end I tore it out and stuck the strip and bird again with double-sided tape instead of wet glue. That made a big difference.
Now that I think about it, the sentiment is actually stamped with a dark purple Archival ink, not black.

I love your crazy rocking bird!! and I love the green glitter at the bottom, pretty birdcages in the background, I'm glad you've used a stamped image to show that works too, I didn't make another wanted to, but had other projects on my to do list.
Thank you for playing with this pretty card
