Lot's of girly things coming out of me lately. Must be that Valentine's Day is coming soon. I have the coolest pair of fringe scissors. I think they were touted as "a poor man's shredding machine" They make 5 snips with every bite. It was quite satisfying cutting into this thick, light pink cardstock scrap. I used decorative scissors on the corners of the recycled printed BG page taken from a fabric sample book, the red border and around the sentiment. A little washi tape sort of covers up "Holiday Inn"
on the removable sewing kit. A little lace flower and a teeny metallic red heart finished off the original bias tape label used as the focal point. Oh, and I used a teeny strip of Letraset dot tape on the top border and the sewing kit. Love that stuff!

So pretty and girly, and yet still recognisably yours with all those fun elements gathered together. I like the little matchbook seeing kit - and if I ever saw binding in such pretty packaging I'd probably buy it just for that! I never think to use decorative scissors to fancy up corners, that looks great.

Wow, this is so cool! Such a grest collage/vintage creation. Love the floral bg paper, the bias tape label, the cut fringe, and the remivable sewing kit. What an awesome way to repurpose items.

Fun, fanciful and girly, for sure. What great images and papers you compiled into this beauty. And that fringe is perfect. I didn't even know there was such a thing as fringe scissors. It would be worth owning a pair just for cards. Wonderful card,
