The Crafter's of Faith challenge for December is:
Scripture: Matthew 2:10 When they [the Wise Men] saw the star, they were overjoyed beyond measure.
Challenge: For this monthâs challenge letâs add a star (or stars) to our cards/projects.
I immediately think of the nativity and the wise men seeing the star. I didn't have wise men small enough for the nativity set, so I just went with the nativity. The nativity is from extras4snowglobe from The Stamps of Life along with matching dies. The palm trees are from flamingo2stamp. I do not have dies, so I stamped with Versamark ink on black cardstock, used clear embossing powder, then fussy cut the trees. The background is created with a new star background from The Stamps of Life. I hand cut the ground piece for my trees and nativity to be placed on. I needed a word and found on in a Paper Smooches set, Christmas Sampler. I saw this card idea in the gallery at The Stamps of Life, so I made one to look close to the one I saw.
