I've had this leftover piece of bg I made awhile back for another card. I thought it coordinated nicely with the stencil flower. For the bg, I mixed the distress inks on my craft mat, added gum arabic, swirled with my finger to slightly blend then applied DTP. While still wet, I stamped off with the Anna Griffin bg stamp to give a bleached look. The gum arabic adds a really nice glossiness.
For the stencil flower, I mixed Liquitex irridescent medium with turquoise and green Pearl-ex powders, applied thickly to stencil, allowed to dry then fussy cut it before adhering to the bg. The panel is popped up with dimensionals. TFL.
