Since I didn't want the cutting lines to show on my cardstock, I printed the pattern out onto copy paper instead. I rough-cut around each piece, used temporary adhesive to stick them to my kraft cardstock piece, & then cut them out on the lines.
I began by doodling/drawing lines with my gel pen. I traced a scallop square die for the scallop lines, a pinking-edge square die for the sharper scallops, and the smallest of Hero Arts' "Rounded Rectangle" dies for the curved doors.
I stamped the little images with Yeti ink. Unfortunately, the ink dried quite a bit lighter & duller than the white gel pen lines I'd drawn. I couldn't stand the difference. Thankfully, the shapes of the images are really simple, so I just went over all of them with my gel pen. Finally, I cut a length of brown & white baker's twine, and clipped the houses to that.
