Today I get to host the Technique Lover's Challenge and I have gone pretty clean and simple with a masculine birthday card (out of the norm for me haha!). I created the candles and paired them with some funny bday sentiments from SNSS called Humorous Birthday Innies - I really like it!

Great card and way to make candles. I learnt this technique years ago at a scrapbook workshop and have forgotten it. Thanks for the reminder. Happy day

So cute--I love your candles and your CAS design. Perfect colors--everything! Also perfect is the way you showed us what's inside without having to add another photo. Love those innies!

Beautiful! The technique looks like a lot of fun and I love this for a masculine card. Really this is great for any celebration card, but it's a super-easy way to do masculine.

Smiling because I recognise the papers; I'm trying to use them up because I've held on to them for far too long. A fun looking challenge which i hope to get to tomorrow - especially having just checked my December birthday list.
