Trying to get a few more Christmas cards into my stash...sponged the background and die-cut. Added a curved snowbank along the bottom and trees cut from the same white glitter card (I sponged the snow with the wilted violet a little for contrast). The trees are SU's card front creator set. Added the TH deer and a Memory Box Star of Wonder, and matted it onto gold card. Searched through my papers and ended up with this one, edging it with gold stickers and adding punched holly leaves and Liquid Pearl berries.
DH says it's an odd mix of traditional and American Christmas. I don't know what he means, but I know he doesn't like it.

Well Sabrina, DH deserves a time out in the corner. This is beautiful. It has a lovely "home for the holidays" Americana feel. So many fun details, especially the holly in the corners. Sending hellos and hugs.

Hmmmm....I wonder which part is the "American" part? I love the snow scene with the deer gazing at the star and all the gold accents. It's really lovely.

Beautiful Xmas card Sabrina. Maybe he thinks the deer are more American? whereas the sentiment and snow is more traditional. I tend to think of cards with deer on more American..not sure why as we had deer in the UK when I was growing up. It is a beautiful card with both. TFS. Happy day
