Lisa is our hostess for the WTUI challenge this week, her challenge is HERE. She has a link to a TLC from a couple of years back and I wanted to try that. I remember from first time round that you have to consider what stamps to use, will they be recognisable in silhouette form. I have a couple of birds on my desk, but this is what got made up into a card. I sponged my background, then stamped the critters on with Versafine Black, and coloured them with a Sharpie. I added a little detail with a white pen, and then made the bunnies eyes a little less bright with a grey pen, and gave him a dot of Glossy Accents for his nose. Stamped and embossed the sentiment in black. Stamped and embossed the shooting star in gold, filled in the centre with gold Stickles. It was a random piece of card that was lying on my desk but I liked the proportions, so I matted the card around it - adding the panel to a gold base and then adding more Stickles all around the edge. I spattered some gold Twinkling H2Os over it.

Sabrina, I am in LOVE with this! "Gorgeous" comes to mind, but so does "heart-warming," "adorable," and last but truthfully not least today - "smile-causing and cheer-bringing!"
I hope you are well and enjoying the start to November way over yonder! Thank you so much for cheering me up today with this card!

Awwww...how sweet is this, Sabrina! What a wonderful silhouette technique, and those cute fur-babies are just delightful staring up at that gorgeous nighttime sky! Love the gold splatters!

This is so cute! I luv that the two natural enemies are enjoying the star show together. I like the idea of using a white pen to show some of the detail for their tails and eyes.
