I made this card for Jayne's first challenge on Ways to Use It: Let's Get Spooked.
I created my alcohol ink background and let it dry.
I used the Ghosting technique by Jennifer McQuire. I've never had much luck with TH Alcohol Ink Lift, but this time I used Distress Archival Ink as suggested by Jennifer M. and dit worked much better! I used my Misti to apply ink for moon and bats, and then wiped it off immediately. You do this several times if you don't get enough ink removed. I outlined my moon and large bat, then added glitter to the moon.
I stamped my "old bat" and colored her with Copic markers. I added crystal lacquer to her eyes and shoes, and silver glitter to her hair. Then I stamped the sentment, adding brads and sponging edges. I popped up my "lady" and the sentiment.
Such a fun challenge Jayne! Thanks!

Fantastic alcohol ink background. And a hilarious image. I'd never had much luck with the Lift Ink before but Jayne's challenge gave me the motivation to push through. I'm curious to try this technique too! I always thought the whole point of using archival on glossy surfaces was that it was permanent, but obviously I was wrong.

Love what you've created .... the background is spectacular and I really love your old bat. Great Copic coloring!
