I started by creating the background by scraping on some acrylic paint. When that was dry, I created a pumpkin stencil by die cutting some clear plastic. I stenciled on some embossing paste, but realized that it was too transparent, so let it dry and used modeling paste over the same stencil and let it dry. Then I again used the stencil to apply orange paint to the pumpkin. I added some highlights to the pumpkin and some paint spatters, and then added the sentiment.

I just love your mixed media CAS creation! Not an easy combination. The texture on that pumpkin is gorgeous. I love the blue paired with the orange and you used the perfect sentiment for the "Orange you glad it's October" challenge. Nailed it!
