This is for Jean's stray embossing powder challenge. Here is the tutorial: Stray Embossing Powder Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers I did most of this backwards, lol. When in doubt go back and read the instructions! lol. I literally just got intrigued with not using an embossing buddy, so I know I did it wrong but posting anyways.
I first stamped my flower in the palette ink and colored with stampin blends. Then masked it and proceeded to gold emboss the honeycombs. I went back and looked at the tutorial again and then used my versamark pen in areas on the stalk and used white ep. but did not like the look so it is covered by my gold embossed on highland heather butterfly. Sponged with the shaded lilac which looks more blue in this picture rather than the glorious lilac color it is. Took a stencil and added a few dots. I was going to round file this initially but just kept going adding the white embossed butterfly image and more sponging and cut two lace banners adhered with glue dots. Sentiment is embossed in green.

Shirl, love the lace which compliments your pretty lacy butterfly and I like the addition of the stenciled dots! I'm so glad you didn't give up on your card .... this is so pretty!
