It was with heavy heart that I sat down to try this technique today. A dear friend's mother lost her valiant fight with Covid-19 this past weekend . . .
I watched the video - drew my heart and set about dabbing in my first layer of color - I was pretty happy with my piece at this point but in the spirit of following the video I started on the second layer - oh yuck! Well, by now I had invested considerable time in this project so not to be defeated added a 3rd and then 4th layer of color to bring it back to something I feel comfortable in sharing. Framed with aqua and finished with an embossed sentiment and die cut golden rose to personalize this card.

You truly captured the technique of the author. It really is striking with the colors and flow of the paint . The added gold rose adds a special touch for this sympathy card. Your friend will feel the love you put into making it. I really like how you got your paint to run. Couldn't get mine to do that. Need to try again. Thoughts and hugs to you in this sad time. So happy you played in the challenge and gave us this beautiful heart.

Wow, this is lovely. I think I need more practice. Mine did not turn out at all like I had envisioned it. Love the gold rose addition on this!

This is stunning! The colors are amazing! I am so in awe, I can't even imagine that there was a point this didn't look good! So very sorry for the reason you had to create this but it's beautiful and I am sure it will soothe your friend's heart.

I think it came out amazing, Linda! Way to stick with it and keep adding those layers. I like yours better than the one in the video. So sorry for your friend's loss. I think this will bring comfort.
