I have had the "Drummer Boy" stamp set since last year, and have only ever used one or 2 of the greetings. I decided it was finally time to use some of the images.
I stamped the images onto a piece of watercolor paper, and used my Inktense pencils to color them. I picked up the color from the pencils with a damp paintbrush, and then applied it to my paper. I find that gives me the maximum control with color intensity and shading with these pencils. After they dried, I die cut them with the coordinating dies.
I die cut the top edge of a scrap of tan cardstock with one of the "Scenic Safari" dies--another set I'd heretofore never used. I cut a piece of patterned paper, and adhered the tan piece to the bottom to create my landscape.
I glued my images in place on my landscape panel. I played around some with placement on my card front, and finally decided to heat emboss the "peaceful" across the top of my panel, and center the landscape part below that. Finally, I adhered my card front to a white card base.
