This is for my oldest daughter's birthday. She loves fashionable shoes and her favorite color is red so those were my starting points. My youngest chose that I make an elegant birthday card.
First, I embossed my red metallic paper with the Tufted embossing folder. It made me think of the fancy shoe resting on a pillow.
I heat embossed the shoe and die cut the oval as well as a slightly larger black oval to mat it. I added the tiny bow to the back and that finished the front of the card.

Catherine this is so exquisite and DD1 is going to love it. I’m a shoe lover too and this is part of a great heel set. I love the EF you chose and it does look like a pillow. Such a special card. TFS. Happy day

Wow, what a great card for your dd. You can't go wrong with white, black and red. This is so pretty and elegant and rich with the red foil! Thanks for the link!

Such a stylish card...beautiful in the red and black and pop-out for the interior! (I too have a red and black loving daughter...though a bit more bohemian in her style...so no pointy heels for her!) But, I love your pointy stylish heel...so glamorous!
