Here is my second entry for round 14 of the Alphabet Challenge. A is for Autumn. A few weeks back the TLC challenge was to stamp with a leaf and emboss. I made a card for that challenge (as well as round 13's Y) but, of course, I made more than one leaf image playing around stamping it on different colors of card stock and various things.
I stamped and embossed it on both Soft Suede and Poppy Parade using both gold and copper powders for the leaf. Today, I was feeling kind of funky and decided to try cutting them in mostly equal sized strips and then alternating the base color ending with this result. I thought about die cutting a nice, even rectangle from it but DD1 liked the rough edge look. Obviously, things didn't line up exactly which is why I call it Shattered Leaf. After trying several base colors, I decided to go with white. Then I white heat embossed the sentiment on Early Espresso card stock. DH isn't too fond of this one but DD1 likes it. It was fun to play around.
This is option two for the Autumn themed card.
Thanks for looking!
