Anna is the hostess for this week's MIXed media challenge[/color], and she's asking us to use Halloween colours. Not necessarily a Halloween card, and originally I wasn't planning to make one, but there is one friend I send one to whenever I have time to get one made - so I made this my time . I pulled two backgrounds from my stash, a gel print with acrylics, and a cling wrap background with Brushos, so that already got me past the first base on mixed media. I also have DOX inks and Inktense pencils, plus Stickles (I forgot to add them to the ribbon on the bat's hat, I'll do that).
I cut a grass border from the cling wrap background, and created a brick wall using DOX inks and a stencil. I wanted to get it a bit more centred with wall on both sides, but I gave up trying. The gate is cut from Bazzill Bling. The moon is a circle of white card sponged with antique linen and wild honey DOX and spattered with water. All the animals were stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils. I matted it onto some purple card and edged it with purple glitter.

This is so darned cute, Sabrina. Marvelous bgs, I love the time tunnel behind the moon and the masked critters are adorable. Glad you opened the gate for your photo.
